James Hoffmeister was kind enough to pass on the warning about excessive
crowds at the voting booth next week...

I have now been informed twice that as a Republican, I will be among those
who will be allowed to vote on Tuesday. The first time, I forwarded it on
and was chastised for being a greedy Republican (actually, I think the words
were - "Just like a Republican - always wanting to be first..."). I was
conciliatory and offered to let the Democrats and Independents vote on
Monday, November 5. (Of course, it took them a while to realize that in
most places early voting ends today, November 3...)
