Being a long-time resident of New Mexico, I would say precisely the
opposite.
Nonetheless, no place is all that bad -- or that good. And I'm always
surprised how similar every place really is to another. That holds just as
true for New Mexico and Oregon. People here in New Mexico always have
healthy
tans, even if they tend to work all day, indoors. I was very pleasantly
surprised to see the same healthy tan color in Oregonians went I first went
there -- but was later greatly disappointed to find out that it was only
rust.
