According to available documentation a ROM chip labeled 62-051 occupies
Socket U61 as part of the standard character set. Reading further
discloses the following:

  The standard 2562C comes with a compressed character set of 13.3
  characters per inch.  Many customers order an upgrade to change this to
  16.67 CPI.  To install the upgrade, 26761B option 060, remove the existing
  ROM from U61 and install the upgrade in that socket.  The 2562C cannot
  accommodate both 16.67 and 13.3 CPI print pitches (one or the other only).

So it would seem that what you have in the bag is the original chip, which
was saved in the event that ......
