I have a 20 year old son who is (should be) a bit of a computer techie -
he has been repairing hardware for nearly 6 years now. He also watched
that particular episode (thankfully, I did not). Afterwards, he called
me and said "I think I finally understand what all the concern is about
Y2K." Funny, after talking to him about it for nearly an hour - he
still didn't have a clue! Apparently, this particular episode also
perpetrated a lot of the myths about Y2K that have been circulating.
