Why do you want a line count?   I find the only useful size indication is
returned by the LEN command, which gives a number of words of interpreter
code.
Cut and paste the source into an editor and check last line number?
Or are you after the segment size to check how near it is to maximum handled
by segmenter?

I wonder; what is the fastest way to determine the number of lines of code
in a Basic/V segment. Are there any tools?
