This appears to be a defect in the LISTF[ILE] code. I eliminated our
pattern matching code via the following test:
:calc pmatch("X[A-Z][A-Z][A-Z][A-Z][A-Z][0-9][0-9]","XABCDE12")
which returned TRUE. The PMATCH function directly invokes the same
pattern matching code used by LISTF[ILE]. So hopefully, SHOWVAR,
DELETEVAR, STORE, RESTORE, which also call the same pattern matching
code, don't have the this problem.
