Hello Dave & all @ 3000-l,
RE: FTP problem with quotes in the file name ?
Installing FTP and backing out is quick. I would do a
quick backup of FTP...
/SYS/WORK: chgroup arpa
/SYS/ARPA: file ftpstd;dev=disc
/SYS/ARPA: store @ftp@;*ftpstd;show
/SYS/ARPA: listf ftpstd,2
ACCOUNT= SYS GROUP= ARPA
FILENAME CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE----
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX
FTPSTD STORE 128W FB 7879 16776959 1 7888 7 *
If you use AUTOPAT, a FTP patch will install in about 30 seconds,
you only need to stop JINETD and remove any users/jobs running
ftp.arpa.sys.
If you need to restore the old copy of FTP/iX:
/SYS/WORK: chgroup arpa
/SYS/ARPA: file ftpstd;dev=disc
/SYS/ARPA: restore *ftpstd;@[log in to unmask]@;show;local
