Michael, as much as you want the government to do everything for you… it can’t.
No where in our great constitution does it guarantee an education. You see
our founding fathers would never have trusted the education of their children
to anyone other than themselves.

It appears you have the means to send your children to a private school. Bully
for you. While I would think your children would have a better chance at a
private school does that resolve you of the responsibility of raising them?

Michael, I like other people on this list managed to go to college. Trust me,
I could not afford it, but I got scholarships, plenty of help and lots of debt.

Excuse me but that "no child left behind" act cost BILLIONS of dollars, far
more than Saint Clinton ever considered proposing. Perhaps if the moneys did
not have to go through Washington, lobbyists, unions, more would make it to
the children.

Michael, have you ever considered a carreer in the military. For some people
it is actually a good solution. I have several friends who serve honerably.
None on them are uneducated. One very good friend is a Major, who started as a
private in the infantry and worked his way through a college education.

No where in the constitution does it guarantee anyone a house. If people make
the right choices, work hard and don't live beyond thier means, houses are
affordable (even on one income). In fact new home buyers were up 9% this month
(heard it on the radio).

Why should anyone be responsible for your fiscal negligance? It is recommended
these days that you should have approx 6 months salary to live on in case you
become unemployed. Because you or anyone else is unprepared, why should you
become my burden?

Michael, whether you like it or not, we live in one of the greatest countries
on earth. We did not become great because of our great socialistic policies.
We became great because we have a government of the people; it is from the
people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.

We became great because it was a minimal form of government that let people be
free to create, to educate. The United States consists of 50 individual
communities with pride and dignity and purpose; all divided with imaginary
boundaries, yet united to a common purpose, and that's love for country.

We have a lot wrong in America, we are not perfect. Giving the imperial
federal government more power is not the right answer.

We don't need to write a new Contract with America. Congress needs to
implement the one James Madison already made with America.

Sense when has it become a crime to show pride for ones country?

Regards,

-Craig
