I couldn't agree more! I am so worried that HP will release 7.5, then
decimate their MPE development staff before they can patch the bugs. I have
raised that concern on this list a couple of times before, and have implored
the list-watchers at HP to respond. So far, there has been nothing. Of
course the people at HP who can answer this concern aren't the ones who
watch the list.

there may not be much we can do these days regarding advocating for mpe --
but
there's one thing that i feel we as a community need to raise bloody h*ll
over.
mpe support people at hp are being laid-off at alarming rates -- right now!
i'm
greatly concerned that within another month or so, when we call in for help,
we'll be back to the situation we had a couple of years ago when the
response
center didn't have enough (knowledgable) mpe people to handle the call-load.
i
think we all remember trying to explain to the call takers what mpe was!
this
is absolutely unacceptable! next week is the perfect time to get hp's 'ear'
and
tell them that the response center and backline groups *must* be adequately
staffed. - d
