The plot thickens!

I think I have discovered the problem but have no idea what I have to do to
fix it.

The upgrade to PP3 apparently worked fine.

The STMSTART.DIAG.SYS program works fine. System stays up ok.

Waited several minutes before I started up the network.

Commands:

NETSTART
RUN STMSTART.DIAG.SYS
NETCONTROL OVERRIDE;START;NET=LOOP
NETCONTROL OVERRIDE;START;NET=LAN
NSCONTROL OVERRIDE; START

I have to use the OVERRIDE option otherwise the NETCONTROL commands don't
work. Without the OVERRIDE option I get the error message:

(VERSION ERROR: BAD MODULE(S) (NETXPORTERR 4044) )

So when I use the OVERRIDE option to bring up the network
everything "appears" to be working ok. The system stays up for about maybe
5 minutes and then boom(!) --

No system failure message, nothing. The console is dead, no colon prompt
and my Reflection networking sessions on my pc go down and I lose all the
connections.

Sounds like a networking problem but does anyone have any idea what I must
do to fix this problem?

Or do I just put everything back to PP2 and live with it without the world
of PP3?

TIA,

Brian Donaldson.
