From your last three posts, sounds like you're going 90 miles a minute here
-- take a moment to rest, relax, and search the HP3000-L archives, and
within which you'll find references to various security programs, both
"freeware" [like bouncer, which was written for the "classic" HP3000
machine(s); hence the reason it aborted on a new "precision architecture"
machine] and commercial [such as VESOFT's Security/3000, Monterey's SAF/3000
(or is it SAFE/3000 now?), and even HP's own "Security Monitor"] all of
which will do password aging

As to the RGB monitor you bought, can't help you there.

BTW: "bouncer" is intended to "bounce" people who have been "inactive" for
too long -- system resources being somewhat scarce on an older machine --
but since that functionality has been implemented directly in the operating
system, the "classic" version is no longer needed.
