John,

I am not an expert, nor do I play one on TV.

However, Reflection can use several protocols, primarily NS-VT ports 1537 (and 1570 for fast file transfer). These can be changed in Reflection, but it needs to match the setting on the HP3K host.

Reflection can also be configured to use TELNET, port 23 by default.

In all of my very limited QOS settings, I have only been able to address mac-address specific traffic... so it would be interesting to see what you come up with.

Does anybody know what type of traffic vt-mgr uses that can be recognized by a network device and put some QOS controls on please?
My first guess is telnet of some sort, but not sure.

thanks,
john
