All those things, but you don't need an NT server. With Reflections on the
PC with TCP/IP stack and static IP addresses, there is not a need for an NT
server. Now if the 3K had a DHCP server ported to it............

Can someone shed some light on how to access the HP3k (MPE/IX 5.5) over a
100baseT network. From what I understand you have to:

1. Put the 3k on the network. Can I connect directly from the 3k to the
10/100 Switch?

2. Configure Network Services on the 3k.

3. Run a terminal emulator on the workstation (Refliction for HP). Does
any software have to run on the Windows NT Server?

4. BTW if the Win NT Server goes down (which it will), can users still
access the 3k throught the network.

I would greatly appreciate if someone can clue me in or point me in the
right direction.

Thanks

Marcos Trinidad
