Thanks for the tip, Glenn!

I had a look and I did a (case insensitive) search on "Unix" and found ONE
occurrence (fair enough, because Unix had its origins as an operating
system for ONE user).

I then did another (case insensitive) search on "MPE" and found MULTIPLE
occurrences (fair enough, because MPE had its origins as an operating
system for MULTIPLE user and processes, interactively as well as in batch
mode... the works).

You are welcome to try these searches to convince yourselves that I am not
kidding :-)

The results of my (case insensitive) "MPE" searches were so inspirational
that I whipped out the latest Adager ad and sent the PostScript
color-separation material over the Internet to our Printers (with an
upper-case "P" to mean the people, not to be confused with our printers,
with a lower-case "p" to mean the machines that do the printing -- we must
be careful to be case-sensitive when it really matters :-)

Not only did I send the "mechanical" material (the graphics industry
certainly uses funny names) to our Printers, but I also placed a couple of
PDF files in Adager's web site for everybody's enjoyment:

http://www.adager.com/AdsPDF/compelling.pdf contains the actual ad.

http://www.adager.com/AdsPDF/compellingSeparations.pdf contains four pages
of color separations (with registration marks, screen angles,
lines-per-inch specs, etc., that you will enjoy seeing in fine detail,
particularly if you set your Adobe Acrobat Reader to 1600%). I think the
color separations tell the story quite dramatically :-)

I hope Hewlett-Packard's Carly Fiorina ("The Boss" as the article says)
will take these compelling MPE matters into consideration during her next
big public appearance, as she competes for attention in the computer
industry now that she has jumped from the telecommunications industry. She
will be compensated handsomely if she mentions "MPE/iX" in the same
sentence as "NT" and "Unix".

Mischievously,

Alfredo
