In response to Joe Geiser.....

Yes it was great to find some of the HP3000-L team at the conference,
especially guys that did travel great distances.

But Joe, the conference is -unfortunately- only half of what it used to
be.

Five years ago the conference would have run from Sunday to Wednesday,
have twice the exhibition and twice the social opportunities.  One thing
that bean counters will never understand, is that you build better
business relationships when you spend time to get to know the person at
the end of the phone.

I had a chance at this conference to meet, amoungst others, Gerry
Fochtman, Ron Seybold and Joe Geiser.  Most of these for the first time,
and what wonderful people they are.

I want to try to get to HP World next year - must start working on the
boss.
