look for a file in .pub.sys called cobgen.  while it's designed to create an
entire cobolprogram, it will (eventually) ask for a database name.  once you
give the name and
it churns for a bit, abort the program.  you'll end up with a text file
(what's the name
of the file, folks?) that you can pull into any editor and play with from
there.
