Watch out for the patch though... Side effects include: night sweats, heart
convulsions, and polka dancing!

Subject: OT: New Telnet Security Hole

New Telnet hole discovered.

You can read the details at(ends in .html):
http://www.computerworld.com/storyba/0,4125,NAV47_STO62543,00.html

The article says that a hacker can cause a core dump which allows the
intruder to take total control of Social Security, cause rolling gray-outs
in California, add cabinet posts, raise Enron's stock price, increase chair
moisteners in sector 7-G, give a man a fish, and turn readers of the
Federalist papers into Democrats. A patch is available at the Free BSD web
site. It is not known in this affects HP9000-L.
