It just so happens I had recently been using e-bay for something else entirely -- on a whim, I fired up my "saved searches" that I used previously for HP3000's [-printer, -notebook, etc. so that I didn't get the "spammed" postings for worthless crap] and they came up empty :(

that said, I know the 9x9 box here is "theoretically" shut off... [yes, there is a difference between "theory" and "reality"...]

Jesse - I don't know what other boxes exist in the "greater" organization [first time I've held an HP3000 position where I physically cannot "touch the box", nor any box for that matter, save the unit on my desk...] (and even then the network/security admins shudder...) BUT you might want to make a discreet inquiry in a few months -- key word is "discreet" -- I have no idea if they plan on keeping boxes as spares for others, or if they are already "leased" and will simply be returned to the leasing agent at some convenient point in the future...

Did you check EBAY?

Behalf Of Jesse Dougherty

I am looking for a 957, 967, 977, or 987... the model doesn't matter but
it
has to have at least a 160 user limit.

If any end user has one that they want to part with, let me know.

We can pay cash or do a trade for hardware.

Thanks
