I don't remember either.  Let's change it back to the original topic...

I'd like to see HP put front-panel power buttons back on to their consumer
devices.  My LaserJet 1100 lacks a power switch, and so does my JetDirect
300X.  In order for me to be a good Californian and conserve electricity, I am
currently pulling the plugs out of the back of those two devices when I am no
longer printing.

It's likely that a LaserJet on standby isn't consuming much power, but in
California every watt counts.

I should probably put those two devices on a separate switched power strip for
easy on/off access...
