That would be true as long as Earth's orbit around the sun also took one
month during this period in history. Otherwise the whole issue of seasons
and when to plant things (remember, Cain was a farmer) would get somewhat
problematic. I guess you'd have to plant and harvest once every 12 years?

Also, since you mention Methusaleh (the Biblical longevity record holder),
we should take a look at his father, Enoch. "When Enoch had lived 65 years,
he became the father of Methusaleh." Given the assumption that years equals
months, these must certainly have been different times, with Enoch producing
offspring at 5 years and 5 months of age.

I guess that would make sense if you consider that Sarah (wife of Abraham),
at age 90 (or a converted 7 years and 6 months) had already gone through
menopause and was considered in her "old age." Sarah was somewhat shocked
when she was told that she'd bear a son (Isaac), given her condition. We'd
be surprised by the gestation period. Sarah was told that she would give
birth within the next year, meaning a gestation period of a month or less.
I'm pretty sure that my wife would have signed up for this plan, were it
available now.

Perhaps, upon further review, Occam's Razor doesn't cut it here?
