Yosef,
No, it doesn't strike me as suspicious. This isn't an enquiry about how to
violate security on an HP 3000; it asks for help on an activity that
requires physical access to the machine and backup media, as well as a
considerable amount of downtime, which would be difficult to accomplish
undetected. I guess I don't understand what nefarious activities you
suspect. Perhaps you could expand on your comments...

Does this posting strike anyone as suspicious? Maybe I am paranoid but that
doesn't mean I'm wrong. I think we need to be careful what information we
give and know to whom we are giving it.

The *shareitall@hotmail* address is not one I would want to do business
under. If you want help on how to do something as important as swapping LDEV
1 disks then use the email address of the company that wants this done.
Please forgive me if I am being offensive but I believe prudence is more
important.

I would suggest that the lister repost this article using the company's name
and email address.

The opinions expressed herein are my own and not necessarily those of my
employer.
Yosef Rosenblatt
