This is an update to the system abort 1144 from Subsys 101 we experienced
the other day while I was attempting to open a data base using Query whilst
DSCOPYing another data base from a remote machine.
Well, after repeated calls to the HPRC (caused by problems they had trying
to dial in to the machine to examine the dump), their expert opinion is:
"Query aborted due to a stack overflow"
Isn't that just peachy keen? I already knew all of this! Fat lot of good
it did me to call the HPRC. Their fix? "It's working okay now, isn't it?"
When I asked about being on the latest release of the O/S (I *think* this
machine just has plain, old 5.5 with no powerpatches), the HPRC thought that
might be a good idea, but basically, he had no idea why this abort happened.
Thank God this was not our production machine.....
