Hey all...

I'm having fits with ODBCLink/SE-32 (version 5.55.0100).
My office-mates are using the driver with no problems...
prompt and speedy access to IMAGE db's. In keeping
with my usual bad luck, *my* IMAGE access comes in
two flavors...slow and very slow. I'm at my wits end
trying to find why this could be, so I'm asking for your
help.

Connecting to ANY dataset (even empty ones!) takes
3 to 4 minutes of intense disk activity, but hardly any
CPU activity. Weird. Even with my disk spinning madly,
I don't seem much swapping to pagefile.sys and physical
memory seems more than adequate.

Anyway, here's the list of what I've got:
Vectra VL Pentium 200
48MB Ram, 59MB pagefile.sys
10Mbs NIC (all other net connections are fine, btw.)
Windows NT 4.0 workstation, Service Pack 3

So, if you're a ODBC guru, or just have an off-the-top-ofyer-head
idea for me to try, I'd appreciate any input.

Regards,
Brian
