Hi, Shawn
we have new D640 printer replacement of 18 years old Hp2680, so
I have to mimic new printer with 200 column with landscape
comup with new environment file call wide.hpenv.sys check
refer escape code on test font print out in your printer.

esc mean escape code use text editor with display function on

esc&l1sesc(s0p16.67h0s0b0T
startwith escape and end with capital letter.

here 16.67 is pitch so 13 ish may be 13.33

and use NPCONFIG.pub.sys
 Global (pjl_supprted = FALSE
                ...
                ...
             jam_recovery = TRUE )

13 (network_address = 207.217.nnn.250
      data_timeout = 60
      setupfile = WIDE.HPENV.SYS )

14 (network_address = 207.217.nnn.250
      data_timeout = 60
      setupfile = EWIDE.HPENV.SYS )

for EWIDE.HPENV.SYS  file had

esc&l1sesc(s0p18.50h0s0b0T
with 18.5 pitch
