> Just a quick poll for those of you who are interested:

I have some comments regarding Mike's poll. These are my thoughts:

- Mike and the rest of us know all about the MOVER fiasco. If you
tried to use web to download patches and had a problem with MOVER
we appologize. Sorry! MOVER is not part of the future plan. The
important thing is to understand if there are other problems, and
other things that need to be improved. If you had a problem due
to MOVER, and that soured you, the question is will you come
back and try again with the MOVER issue resolved?

- If you are using AUTOPAT, then tell us WHY! The standard answer
is something like "I tried Patch/iX (once), it didn't work, I'm
sticking with AUTOPAT." There have been lots of problems fixed in
Patch/iX. Mike and his team are trying to understand what else
needs to be fixed. The team in place want to understand the
impediments to acceptance. Help him to understand your Patch/iX
issues -- don't assume they won't get addressed.

- IMO, Stage/iX is truely a "better way to apply patches" (vs tapes).
The key to Stage/iX success lies in Patch/iX accpetance (Patch/iX
it the only patch tool which supports Stage/iX).
