Does anyone know the conversion rate for 1959 dollars vs. 2001 dollars?
(i.e., the earning potential vs. cost-of-living adjusted in respect to each
other -- while the lament is likely true given for a family of 4, what does
$20 earned in 1959 represent so far as hours worked, etc.?)
