I do not see this, Greg! I am not a "toe-the-line" kinda Christian, but I,
and those I have fellowship with, definitely make the distinction between
church and religion.

Now, if one grew up in the Romish Church, one would have been indoctrinated
to believe that there is no salvation without The Church, and that Church
and religion are the same. Founding Fathers were not of that persuasion,
however, and I tend to believe they knew the difference.

I always welcome corrections to my perspective, however.
