I'm not sure what the 25-pin port you allude you does - but I believe it
does not provide the capability you are seeking. Perhaps it used as a
serial diagnostic port.

The DTC16 must be ordered with either a BNC port OR an AUI port. Only if
equipped with an AUI port can a standard transceiver be used to connect via
rj45 cable.

I believe there exists somewhere a BNC to RJ45 converter box which may
solve your problem for you. This contraption requires a power source. I do
not recall at the moment where you can get such a device. Perhaps others
can chime in here.
