We use Amisys' Net.Manager product which allows access to TurboImage
databases via the web interface they developed using Autobahn. It works
great. We have even added new screens since web access is so popular. We
have noticed no performance issues on the 3000 and the web pages are as fast
as any other web application I have seen.
One thing to note when you go this route. Make sure your backup is true
online, as with Turbostore's "ONLINE=[START/END]". If your site is used by
large organizations, then your database access can suddenly be truly 24/7.
Make sure your database maintenance, third party reindexing, backup, and
other procedures now include upping and downing this portion of your web
site.
