Ionut Arnaut asks, "what editor can i use" to edit
/usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf
Unfortunately, the answer may not be to your liking you
need to use vi in the MPE/iX POSIX shell. You can fiddle
with frombyet, EDIT/3000, and tobyte, but in the long
run vi will be quicker and easier. Try this:
shell/iX> vi /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf
# Samba config file created using SWAT
# from 192.168.0.2 (192.168.0.2)
# Date: 2001/11/12 09:37:30
# Global parameters
[global]
workgroup = SAMBAIX
interfaces = 192.168.0.37/255.255.255.0
security = SHARE
username map = /usr/local/samba/lib/user.map
... snip
I hope that helps.
Take care,
frank
