Could you be more specific?  Do you want programs to acccess the files from the
HP 3000?  Do you want a user at an HP terminal to browse the file?  Do you
simply want to transfer files?  Is there a UNIX facility that behaves the way
you want this to behave, can you give an example of what you want to do?
