One way to do this that I'm thinking of (right out-of-the-box) is to hook up
the 3000 as an NFS client to an NFS-capable NAS box. What it requires is an
NFS client on the 3000. NFS/iX from Quest Software used to do that.

I seriously doubt the 3000 is ever iSCSI capable. Just an NFS over IP
connection should do it, BTW.
