I have had extensive experience with the NEWGROUP UDC authored
by Jeff and can say that it meets the needs of most users using user
volumes. I managed 5 systems using 30 user volumes and 600Gb of
disk space only because that UDC existed. (Thanks Jeff!).

However, the major problem is that HP created one of the best features
ever with User Volumes on MPE/XL and then stopped before they
completed it. In the days before 1.0 I submitted over 150 SRs on volume
management including the functionality of Jeff's UDC into MPE/XL.
At present..... No results, Most of the SRs have been resubmitted since
then.

All I can say is I'm glad Jeff Vance recognizes the users needs.
