If you’re using native network printing, simply edit the appropriate entry in NPCONFIG.pub.sys to reflect the up address of the new target printer.
Then:
Stopspool ldevno
Startspool ldevno
When the disabled printer is ready to go again, simply edit the NPCONFIG entry back to its original and res issue the stop/start spool commands.
