Well, despite my good experiences with the 5.0 pull on our smaller library
system, I've had a few surprises this morning, some known, some unknown.
If the unknowns ring a bell, drop me a note, you're probably faster than
the response center :-)

* A commonly-used (by over 100 users) Reflection script to logon and setup
an application environment was failing. After much head-scratching, it
turned out to be the logon banner copyright line which now looks like:
MPE/iX HP31900 B.76.22 Copyright Hewlett-Packard 1987. All rights reserved.
                                                                     ^^^^^^^^^
That used to be "Reserved." (capital 'R'). The script looked for that to
turn the display back on after the logon noise was finished so the user
could see any welcome message present. Oh well... I just put "Reserved" in
the Welcome message to trigger the script (I'm not running all over campus
changing scripts on this cold January morning!)

* Another application is getting Image error trying to do a mode 7 dbget,
the error translates to "FS Error 93 - Security violation". The user is
logged into the right account, and the database group is R,A,W,L,X:AC,
and the file is not secured. Real weird. No, no ACDs present either.

* We seem to be having trouble with DTC ports at 19200 baud. This might
be a datacomm problem elsewhere, but it's not affecting other systems
(using same terminals to get there). Tried rebooting DTCs with no luck.

Oh well... hope this is the worst of it :-)
