There are many HPe3000 shops going the route of JSP, EJB and application
servers.

Using WebiX ( http://www.advnetsys.com/webix.html ) you can run the
web/application server on any platform (yes, even the HP e3000) and easily
write robust web based applications to access any information from your HP
e3000 - you can even call existing sub programs located in XLs.
