Thanks for the guess, but I don't think this is it either. I do have IMAGE
logging going to that volume, but it was stopped at the time. My evidence for
that is that IMAGE logging access of the log file does show up in a :LISTFILE,8
which I did. I added a :LISTFILE /,8;TREE;SELEQ=[ACCESS=INUSE] (thanks Gavin)
and today with through the listed files one by one. The only open thing which
exists on that volumeset is /SYS/PUB (the group) and I believe one cannot
remove that. However PUB.SYS is home to MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET and has the
following report:
:report pub.sys;onvs=USER_SET
ACCOUNT FILESPACE-SECTORS CPU-SECONDS CONNECT-MINUTES
/GROUP COUNT LIMIT COUNT LIMIT COUNT LIMIT
SYS 1232304 ** 0 ** 0 **
/PUB 0 ** 0 ** 0 **
Last but not least, this whole business was working up until last Saturday
night. My conjecture (as I just got done telling the HPRC) is that there is
some flag or user count on the volumeset which has gotten out of sync with
reality.
Thanks all,
Ted
