In a 9x8 the hardware address a.k.a. path is 56/? where "?" is
the slot number x4.
Example: SE SCSI board in slot 11, path is 56/44
Example: 28696A F/W/D card in slots 11 and 12, path is 56/48 (connector
         on bottom in slot 12)
