MPE is dying because the 'ecosystem' is dying. Of course, in nature, if an
ecosystem is dying, some of the components of that ecosystem move on to
survive/thrive in other ecosystems. So, HP, how's 'bout you let IBM, SUN,
UNISYS (add everybody) have MPE? I firmly believe that the other vendors
would just love to rejuvenate the dying MPE (read as 'have a great installed
base' (err, 'ecosystem')) . HA!
