It sounds like you're trying to install to one of the LUNs as LDEV 1 on
the MOD20.
You can configure your MOD20 with an old 700/92 dumb terminal and change
its behavior to be a VT220 terminal (or any other VTxxx type.)
Then plug it into one of the serial ports on the back of the MOD20
array. Normally, each serial port can configure half of the array
discs.
The LUN number you see on the presentation display should match the last
digit on the BOOT PATH to install it as LDEV 1.
Hopefully, one of your LUN digits matches the last digit in the BOOT
path.
AND it is plugged into the boot path.
Otherwise I think your default LDEV 1 may default to some OTHER hard
disc that it thinks is inside the CPU cage. If there is no disc there,
you'll have to go back to configuring the MOD20 above.
This is just my opinion from memory.
