I also have NBSpool. Got it last fall. We also send to a bunch of
network printers. But all of our network printers have their
device class defined on ONLY ONE LDEV (255 in our case). In other words,
you don't need to have a 1-for-1 relationship. Our programs open
a spool file to the DEVICE CLASS. They never know what 255 is.
 
Unless you have different issues, I think this would be much cleaner
for you.
