We have a need to reboot a Nike Mod20 Disc Array to get one of the
console ports back.

We had a situation in test where all the database drives A0 B0 C0 &
A3 where swapped out for drives
with no flare code and the Mod20 would not reboot.
Once a drive with valid flare code was installed the machine
rebooted but the lun configuration was lost.

What steps need to be performed to make sure that this will not
happen again.
I am not certain that the original database drives are in the
database slots.

I have had HP configure a drive with flare code. I pulled out the
old drive in slot A3,
the Hot Spare took over and then I plugged in the new drive in slot
A3 and it was rebuilt.
I now know that I have at least one database drive with a valid
flare code and that the machine will reboot.
I am concerned about the current Lun configuration

Is the Lun configuration kept on the database drives?
Is there a way to be certain the Mod20 has the Lun configuration
before rebooting?

        Many thanks in advance
