I was given a table matrix, one item being this question;

Is the dictionary Y2K compliant; Under the Heading "QDDR at all PH Release
levels",
the answer is NO, "PDL used with PH7.29.c8 & above", answer is YES.

Then this explaination was given as a subnote.

QDDR depends on the services of HP's Dictionary 3000 product. HP has stated
that
they will not make Dictionary 3000 Y2K compiliant. Cognos has performed Y2K
compliance testing using only PDL-based applications and has no plans to conduct
any further Y2K testing. The QDDR application was written in a version of PH
prior to 7.29.c8. Cognos has no plans to update or enhance this application.
Furthermore, no application compiled or run in a PH release earlier than
7.29.c8 is covered under the Cognos Y2K warranty; this includes QDDR. Cognos
does not warrant that QDDR will work correctly in the next millennium.

end quote.

I don't really understand how the dictionary would be or wouldn't be compliant,
since the dictionary itself is rather benign. But,this isn't my words, just
repeating what has been passed on to me.
