What's the problem? Is the "SAVE $OLDPASS, xxx.yyy" failing for some
reason? (If so, is "yyy" not on the same volume set as your logon group?)

BTW: I submitted an enhancement request years ago to allow "SYS" to
be a valid synonym for "MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET" ...
it got lost.
