Chuck,
Do a discfree c, make sure you have enough contiguous free space on LDEV 1.
Where is the physical console? What model HP3k is this?
I do believe the log files are cached and not written until the XM posts.

Subject: Events not showing up in System log
I have a system that has rebooted itself twice in the last few days. It may have been a power problem, but there is no Power Failure showing up on the system log and a few jobs that ran prior to crash don't show up either. Anyone ever seen this type of problem before? Chuck Trites
