I don't want to start a war here, but if anyone claims that they can
provide you a foolproof 7x24 uninterruptable *and* infallible product,
they're pulling your chain. "There is no such thing as a foolproof
solution as fools are so ingenious" or "Unbreakable toys are good for
breaking other toys" (sorry, can't attribute quotes at the moment).

<soapbox>
HP's solution has it's faults.  Orbit's isn't foolproof, though I won't
deny it is more robust in principle. Others may also qualify. But
there is no bullet-proof solution. It depends on your needs and your
objectives (and budget). I have no problems of a "catastrophic" nature
to blame on any of them; only trying to point out that none are 100%
foolproof.

HP is "pricey" with their solution, the others can give you more bang
for the buck. I don't dispute that. But there is no 7x24 backup
solution without some weakness. Those claims (from every side of the
fence) start to sound like unix solutions, which we all know are bogus.

Make your decisions on clear facts. Nobody has what you want (you can
devise exceptions to most if not all of their assumptions). Compare it
to your current environment and decide what's best for you.

</soapbox>

No offense intended to HP, Orbit, Unison, etc.; all have fine products.
Let's just watch the marketing persuasion, please?
