Can anyone explain this Turboimage error to me? Is this because we were
running the Turbostore Online backup at the same time and the database was
held ?

TURBOIMAGE RESULT AT ???????; RETURN STATUS = 3950
DBOPEN, MODE 1, ON HEALTH.DATA
UNRECOGNIZED RETURN STATUS: 3950
HEX DUMP OF STATUS ARRAY FOLLOWS:
0f6e 74c0 0000 0188 0000 0191 4163 a180 0001 0000

My remembrance, which might not be correct, is that the 3nnn error messages
are related to TPI products. Since your database is "HEALTH.DATA", I am
taking a guess that this is an Amisys installation, which uses Omnidex as I
remember. You should look in the Omnidex error manual to find this error.

This was the one problem with reporting errors from TPI. Only during
DBOPEN is it impossible for the TPI product to intercept the call to
DBERROR. When DBOPEN fails because of a TPI problem, Image rightfully
decides that the whole database has problems and returns. Unfortunately,
when the program calls DBERROR or DBEXPLAIN, Image doesn't have any
database information to know that it should call the appropriate TPI
product. Therefore, the error shows up as an "UNRECOGNIZED RETURN STATUS"
instead of a valid error and message.

Good Luck,
