Ed,
You need to run REFEREE in the TECHXL account (also part of the CSLXL)
to change the release (Vuf) that BOUNCER will work under. REFEREE has
a help function that outlines the command needed.

I was also interested on a cheap idle log-off program, so I installed the
latest BOUNCER from my 1998 CSL tape.
Upon running it, I got a message that implied it would not run under my
current OS, which is 6.0.
What's up?

Chris,
I have been using BOUNCER for the past few years. You can "Bounce"
users off the system by name or by LDEV number. If you belong to
Interex, it's on the CSL tape for FREE.

I would like to know if there is a cheap/free way to log users off of a
modem if they have been idle for xx minutes. I know that Secure/3000 from
Vesoft will do this but my customer is looking for a in-expensive/free
solution.
Thanks for you help.
