I would like to take this time to publicly thank Mark Bixby for taking time
to help me with running his Patchman/iX script on our system.

To make a long story short, my problems started when I attempted to connect
using our proxy server but kept hanging up and the point of connecting to
the HP FTP site. After several hours of sweat and tears, Mark suggested I
setup DNS and bypass our proxy server.

As of this moment, the Patchman script is in the process of downloading all
the available patches for our system and now I am getting ready to setup
Patch/iX.

It's a real shame HP did what it did to the HP3000 product. With a great
community here and with people like Mark to help out in a time of need, I
dread the day when we part.
