Most of the cases of slave printing via a terminal emulator do not need
a Windows print driver. The HP3000 is not going to expect a conversion
and in some cases will not tolerate the actions of a Windows driver.

Do not allow your emulator to use the Windows driver if possible. If that
is not possible, add the printer as generic/text only.

This assumes that the problem is with the appearance of the text. If you get
no data, try printing from notepad. If no windows app will work, you need to
address a connection problem (cables, port configuration, etc).
